CAST IRON COMPONENTS
CAST IRON COMPONENTS

Casting is a manufacturing process in which molten metal is poured into a mould to form components with complex geometries. After solidification, the material takes the
shape of the mould, enabling efficient production of both simple and intricate parts for industrial applications.

Casting Process

Our casting operations are carried out under controlled conditions to support
consistency and quality:

• Material Selection

Suitable metals such as cast iron, ductile iron, and alloy steels are selected based on
application requirements.

• Mould Preparation

Precision moulds are prepared using appropriate techniques to achieve required
shape and surface characteristics.

• Melting & Pouring

Metal is melted and poured under controlled parameters into prepared moulds.
• Cooling & Solidification
The material is allowed to cool and solidify into the required component shape.

• Finishing Operations

Processes such as fettling, grinding, and machining are used to achieve final
specifications.

• Quality Inspection

Components are inspected to help ensure they meet dimensional and material
requirements.
