control compared to conventional casting methods.

Investment Casting Process

Our investment casting process is designed for repeatability and precision within specified tolerances:

• Pattern Creation

Wax patterns are created to match the required component geometry.

• Ceramic Shell Formation

The wax pattern is coated with ceramic material to form a mould shell.

• Dewaxing

The wax is removed, leaving a hollow ceramic mould.

• Metal Pouring

Molten metal is poured into the ceramic mould under controlled conditions.

• Cooling & Shell Removal

After solidification, the ceramic shell is removed to retrieve the casting.

• Finishing & Inspection

Finishing and inspection processes are performed to meet required specifications.

Investment Casting is a process for metal forming. It is also known as lost wax casting. The Castings allow the production of components with accuracy, reliability and integrity with wide range of metals and alloys. Casting manufacturing process consists of various important steps from injection to dewaxing and pouring to finishing…

Wax replicas of the desired castings are produced by injection moulding, in a continues production line these replicas will be assembled to gather on a runner riser to form a assembly tree.

Onec the assembly are ready, next process carried out by dipping assemblies into a ceramic slurry and on extremely fine sand to form a shell, this process is repeated for several times. Finally shells are dewaxed to form negative impression withing the shell.

The shells are filled with molten degased metal, as the metal cools, entire shell becomes a solid metal structure and with the help vibration ceramic shell is broken off.

With help of plasma cutting castings are extracted from the shell. There casting are identical to the wax patterns. Various machines and equipments are used to finish the surface and sent for further process of machining.

The entire production process is meticulously designed ensuring utmost consistency in quality and reduced lead time.
